Delivery is free for orders £5 and over. Most is despatched with Royal Mail though larger or more valuable orders may be sent by courier, normally Hermes.
Items marked "available" are either in stock or (in line with the Google definition of in stock), readily available and expected to be in within 2-5 working days though occasionally it can be longer. Delivery estimates displayed in the checkout include this potential lead time. If you need an item in a hurry then please email email@example.com for a physical check of availability of the item, please give the date by which you need it.
Sometimes books are unavailable due to reprinting (most commonly over summer) and retailers only discover this on ordering a book and finding it does not arrive. In that case you will be given the option of cancelling or waiting for it to come in. An estimate of despatch time is given where available but cannot be guaranteed as it is out of our control.
Post is despatched Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Please be aware post already in the system does not move over weekends and bank holidays. At certain times of year, most notably Christmas, post is slower than usual and we cannot be liable for late delivery.
Most music books are large letter size, marked "Do not Bend" and therefore often do not fit through letterboxes. It is your responsibility to arrange collection from a post/sorting office if you are not in when the parcel is delivered. Please be aware that Royal Mail considers one week an appropriate delivery time for any post whether first class or second and so a parcel will not be considered potentially lost until after that time has passed.
The legal stuff
If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us in writing and return the item in its original condition within 14 days and we will give you a full refund (excluding your postage costs). If you wish to cancel your order you must do so by letter or email.
If an item is defective or supplied in error by us, we will also refund the postage costs for the returned item.
Defects to or non-delivery of goods should be notified to us within 30 days of your order.
