Ordering

Sheet music and accessories (including recorders)

Items that are kept in stock and will normally be despatched by first or second class post (depending on which you choose)  1 to 2 working days after your order is received. You can expect to receive your order within 5 working days in the UK, 7 working days in Europe. Occasionally we do run out of the most popular items and if this happens we will let you know when you can expect to receive it.

  

Items not kept in stock are indicated by a delivery time of three working days or more. These will be subject to special order and the item description gives an indication of when you can expect to receive your order.

Please bear in mind that large items go by parcel post and can take a week for delivery in the UK.

You will be informed by email when your parcel is despatched so you know when to expect it.

 
Musical Instruments (except recorders)
 
Instruments are despatched by courier at no extra charge, normally 1-2 working days after receiving your order and payment.  Please select free second class delivery at the checkout.

Sorry, musical instruments cannot be despatched outside the UK.
 
 

Delivery charges

UK - FREE second class (or courier for musical instruments), £1.30 first class,       UK Special Delivery available at extra charge.
 
Europe - £4.50 (or Euro equivalent) standard charge, but please see note below
Rest of the World - £6.50 standard charge, but please see note below

Post is despatched using standard Royal Mail services (airmail for overseas mail). 

It is not able to be tracked or guaranteed; if you wish to receive your parcel by tracked (i.e. Registered) post, please contact us - there will be an additional charge.

Overseas orders

The standard charge for Europe and the Rest of the World reflects the average order of 1 or 2 music books.  Should you order more items than this, and the weight of the parcel is therefore well outside the standard charge range, then we reserve the right to review the postage charge made.  You will normally be contacted by email within 12 hours of the order being placed and advised if an additional charge applies.  You may then arrange to pay the additional cost or cancel the order and receive a full refund.  We try to keep the postage costs as low as possible for our customers and hope you understand that to absorb unusually high costs regularly would mean everyone having to pay a higher standard charge.

  


There are a few items which are very heavy and for them an extra charge applies in addition to the standard charge. The item description states if this applies.  We are sorry, but musical instruments cannot be despatched to destinations outside the UK.

The legal stuff

If you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item in its original condition within 30 days and we will give you a full refund (excluding your postage costs).

If an item is defective or supplied in error by us, we will also refund the postage costs for the returned item.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel the contract for purchase within 7 days and return the goods. You must do so in writing (letter or email) and you will receive a full refund.


Privacy Policy

We will keep the personal details of its visitors and customers private and secure (information is collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We will not sell or share your personal details with unrelated third parties, without explicitly asking for your consent in advance.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

• your name
• address
• phone number
• email address

We use the personal information you give us for the following purposes:

• to contact you about the status of your order
• to occasionally email you with details of our products, special promotions, and enhancements. If you would prefer not to receive these mailings, then please email us to have your address removed from our mailing list

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

This site uses cookies to assist you in your shopping.  If you disable your cookies, you may find that parts of the site do not work.  Cookies are also used to track how customers navigate the site so improvements can be made to the website.   Use of this site implies consent to set cookies in your browser.
