An advanced work full of fury and fireworks which utilises the entire range of the double bass. Composed for David Heyes, who premiered the work in the Czech Republic in 2006, this is one of Tony Osborne's finest and most adventurous works for double bass. There are challenges for each performer producing a lively, vibrant and exciting work which holds the attention from the first note to the last. A great addition to the solo repertoire which fuses jazz style and idioms with the rhythmic momentum and energy of the Czech furiant.

The edition includes piano accompaniments for both solo and orchestral tunings.
