Many people are concerned about the security of their personal data and in particular their card details.  Here is how VS Music Supplies handles payments.

Two payment systems are available; Paypal Express checkout, and Sage Pay, for credit and debit cards.
 
With Paypal Express, you can complete payment using your existing Paypal account in a few clicks.
 

If you do not have a Paypal account, you can use Sage Pay (formerly Protx) which ensures systems are secure (Level 1 PCI DSS)  and in line with the latest bank requrements.  Should you choose to pay online, you are directed to an encrypted site hosted by Sage Pay - you can check them out at www.sagepay.com.  All data transmitted is encrypted and even VS Music Supplies does not have access to your card details - all we see is if the payment has been authorised and completed or not.

If you choose to pay over the phone, you will naturally give your card details to us and these will be entered onto an online payment system, again powered by Sagepay.  Once the payment has been completed, VS Music Supplies cannot see the card details.

Cards accepted: Mastercard, Visa (credit and debit), Maestro, Solo, American Express.

Payments are processed in either sterling or euros, depending on your choice of currency.  Prices may be shown in US dollars but payments for that currency will be processed in sterling.

Having Problems With Credit Card Payment?

There can be a number of reasons why payment fails to go through, here are some of the most common:

- if you use a computer at work, your company firewall may prevent access to or authorisation at the encrypted payment site

 - misspelling the first line of your address

 - misspelling the postcode

 - errors in the expiry date of the card or the CVV2 code

 - temporary communications failure - e.g. telephone cable breakdown

Please ensure the address you give is the one the card is registered to or the payment may fail.  You can always specify a different delivery address.
