Lamb: Love Music

Peter Lamb was Recital Music's featured composer in 2005 and this beautiful and elegiac work was premiered at Bass-Fest 2004 by David Heyes.

Love Music would be ideal for the bassist who is able to display the sonorous and cantabile qualities of the double bass, and is in a lyrical but modern idiom. It makes effective use of the solo register with its strong, chordal and harmonically interesting accompaniment.

This edition includes piano accompaniments for both solo and orchestral tunings.
