Written for Double Bass 2000, this is a lively and rhythmic tango aimed at the intermediate player and is in bass clef throughout. A supportive piano accompaniment adds to the dance-like feel and the tango syncopations help to produce a lively addition to the repertoire. The music is vigorous and enjoyable, with not too many challenges, and would be ideal for an end of term concert. There are simple technical and musical challenges for the intermediate bassist and its rhythmic and supportive accompaniment adds to the enjoyment and success of the piece.
