Green: 3 Norfolk Sketches

Composed for the BIBF's One Minute Wonders project in 2006, these three miniatures in a confident, advanced and strident style. They are brief impressionistic studies of localities in Norfolk and are vignettes which communicate with a minimum of fuss and effort.

There are simple challenges, with great scope for both performers to display more than simply technique, in a modern, atonal yet still accessible idiom. The edition includes accompaniments for both solo and orchestral tunings.
