Gajdos: Daliboretta & Romanetta

Daliboretta and Romanetta were composed in the 1970s for the composer's students in Kromeriz (Czech Republic) and are aimed at the confident intermediate bassist. They utilise the lower orchestral register, remaining in bass clef throughout, offering musical and technical challenges in equal measure. Miloslav Gajdos writes in a popular, accessible and tonal style, producing a wealth of music for bassists of all ages and abilities.
