Resident in London for over 50 years, Domenico Dragonetti (1763-1846) is an important figure in the history of the double bass.
'Variations on God Save the King' was probably written during his first few years in London and only the solo bass part exists in the British Library. A new and independent piano accompaniment has been written by English composer, Betty Roe, and this unusual and inventive work is available for the first time.
Published in orchestral tuning only, the edition includes the original bass part and a newly edited version by David Heyes.
Despatch time for this item is 4-5 working days.
