Alexander: Haiku Journey

John Alexander won the 1999 BIBF Composition Competition and has written a number of impressive works for double bass. A hauntingly atmospheric stillness permeates Haiku Journey and it evokes an ethereal simplicity within a 20th-century vocabulary.
